The Rules That Keep This Worth Having
HRIN exists because HR professionals deserve a space that is genuinely safe, genuinely useful, and genuinely theirs. These guidelines protect that promise.
Not a group. A professional home.
HRIN was built because HR professionals deserve a space where you can ask the question you cannot ask anywhere else. Where the person answering has actually done the job. Where no one is trying to sell you something.
Everything in these guidelines exists to protect that. Not to restrict you. To make sure this stays worth being part of.
Read them once. And if you ever have a question, reach out to the admin team directly.
Who belongs here
HRIN is exclusively for HR professionals. This means people who work in HR, have worked in HR, or are formally studying to enter the HR profession. Every member is manually reviewed before being approved.
If you joined HRIN, you belong here. Welcome.
Thirteen rules. No exceptions.
These are not suggestions. They are the conditions under which HRIN stays worth belonging to. Tap any rule to read it in full.
What happens when rules are broken
HRIN is not looking for reasons to remove people. But the community quality depends on consistent standards.
A direct message from the admin team with context and a request to correct the behaviour.
Content will be removed and the member will receive a formal warning.
Membership suspended or permanently removed without refund, at the admin team's discretion.
- Promotional spam or commercial solicitation
- Sharing confidential community content externally
- Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity
- Harassment of any member
- Deliberate disruption of community discussions
Be the kind of member you would want to have in your community.
Most of you have navigated difficult workplace situations, managed sensitive conversations, and operated in environments where you had to read the room. Bring that same professionalism here. That is the standard.
